U.S. Customs Seizes $142,000 In Illegally Imported Plywood From China
On August 27, U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Baltimore seized a shipment of more than 8,500 sheets of falcata plywood, worth about $142,000, that was imported using a stolen identity and undervalued on the customs declaration. The source was listed as Indonesia, but investigators determined that the shipment originated in China.
