COVID-19 CARES Act

The House of Representatives passed the Senate-approved CARES Act on Friday, March 27, subsequently signed by President Trump on Saturday. The Act covers such things as relaxing limitations on company’s losses for prior years, deferred social security tax payments, refundable payroll tax credits, and additional provisions designed to help small businesses.
